課程概述 |
The three hours course will be divided into two sessions with one brief break in between. In the first session, the NTU students will summarize the readings and discuss with the instructor on the subject of the week. In the second session, the webcam students will make presentation and/or participate in discussion. All students need to rite reviews for a few selected readings. The Heidelberg students will choose four out of nine weeks of their attendance to write reviews, each contributing to 20 % of their grade. Their participation will count the rest 20% of the grade. The NTU students should submit 6 reviews that do not include their chosen weeks of in-class report. The reports are oral, but distribution of thought papers and/or files is encouraged. Summary and participation account for 20% of the grade while reviews contribute 60%. The Sun Yat-sen and Cheng Kung students should write 8 reviews that account for 80% of the grade with participation contributing 20%. The length of each review should be about 800-1,000 words. Reviews can be written in either English or Chinese. |
